CVS Health Senior Energy Analyst, Facilities in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

The Senior Energy Analyst will identify, manage, execute and elevate energy strategies for multiple business segments, including Retail, PBM Facilities, Omnicare and Coram, totaling over 10,000 facilities with a $350 million annual spend. To drive savings, the analyst will develop databases with historical and current energy cost/usage data to establish baselines to identify areas of opportunities.

Applying quantitative and qualitative analyses to build savings models will also be the responsibility of the role.

The position will complete energy audits to obtain facility details to support savings projections used to benchmark baselines throughout the organization. As another resource, the analyst will utilize Site Manager, our corporate monitoring platform, to continue optimizing retail store energy management controls and support energy initiatives. Applying technical skills to maneuver through the platform will be essential to develop and instill best practices for energy efficiency. The analyst is financially responsible for expense and capital budget savings, variances and forecasting. The position will ensure strategies are tracked and cost savings impacting the utility expense budgets are measured. This includes managing key energy procurement suppliers to provide recommendations and complete buys for $75M of the energy portfolio. The position contributes to establishing the road-map to achieve enterprise wide goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance calculations in our annual public disclosures. The analyst will support and present energy strategies with recommendations to the senior Energy Manager and other business sponsors.

Required Qualifications

-2+ years of extensive knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

-3 to 5 years experience completing quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop assessments and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

-Knowledge of energy and sustainability programs.

-Prior experience developing and implementing these types of programs.

-Masters degree is preferred.

-Proven ability to present concepts and results across many levels of the organization including senior leadership.

-Attention to detail, able to work in a team environment and have the ability to acquire new skills is essential.


Bachelor's Degree is required.
