Job Description
The Sourcing Specialist will support our recruiting team and help us place qualified candidates faster.
Sourcing Specialist responsibilities include searching social networks and portfolio sites to identify potential candidates, sending recruiting emails and organizing an effective employee network. To be successful in this role, you should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for BHI Energy’s current and future staffing needs

- se social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates
Interact with professionals on niche platforms, like RoadTechs and NukeWorker ( and others)
Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
Collaborate with recruiters and operations to identify each position’s requirements
Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates
Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
Contact past applicants for new job opportunities
Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill
- Qualifications and Skills
2+ years of proven work experience as a Recruiter, Sourcing Specialist, Sourcer or similar role
Staffing or job placement/assistance experience preferred
Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software
Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases
Good knowledge of labor legislation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant experience
Proactive and self-motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Positive, professional attitude and presence
Must be trustworthy and mature and takes initiative
Prior experience working successfully in a metrics driven environment
Strong ability to identify and act on underlying client needs and business/industry trends.
Results-driven, proactive, resourceful, sense of urgency, quality and detail-oriented.
Proven problem-solving, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including grammar skills
A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in a similar recruiting role
Experience with Applicant tracking systems
Experience in utilizing traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques.
Knowledge of state and federal laws as they pertain to hiring.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet recruiting tools.
Great attitude and team player.
Successful completion of background screening process.
Have a valid driver’s license and maintain State minimum coverage for auto insurance
